- Home Care Assistant
- Based in Wickford
- Pay: £13.10 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.71 per hour
- Guaranteed hours (20 hours per week - Ts&Cs apply)
- Shift patterns: 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm (including weekends and evenings)
- Areas covered: Wickford, Southend, Basildon, Rochford and surrounding areas
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Your Role as a Home Care Assistant
As a Hales Care Assistant, you’ll support individuals in and around Wickford to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting medication and meal preparation
- Helping with light domestic tasks and grocery needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- No experience necessary, we have had people join from hospitality, retail, and customer service backgrounds
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
